Reactivate a Task

Overview

Use this article to reactivate a task on a matter using Case Tracking. You can only reactivate tasks that meet certain conditions. For some tasks involving multiple clients, the second client may need to act before reactivation is possible.


Reactivate a Task

  1. On the Home page, in Find case reference, enter your case reference.

  2. Open the case, then on the Case Tracking page, select the Matters tab.

  3. Select the relevant task from the list.

  4. Go to the Options tab and select Reactivate.

  5. Select OK to confirm.

⚠️ Important
If the task is not complete, you cannot reactivate it.


Tasks Involving a Second Client

For tasks that involve more than one client:

  • The second client can make the required amendments to the document and sign it.

    • This will then re-request a signature from the first client.

  • Alternatively, the second client can sign the task to enable reactivation.

If the required client actions are not completed, reactivation will not be available.
