Biometric ID not working

Overview

To fully complete a Biometric ID check, the device you are using must allow the camera and microphone to be used by the browser app. If these permissions are blocked or denied, you will not be able to complete the check.

Use this article to confirm that camera and microphone permissions are enabled on your device, then restart the Biometric ID check.


Check Camera and Microphone Permissions

  1. Open the browser app you are using for the Biometric ID check (for example, the browser on your phone or tablet).

  2. Make sure the browser has permission to use both the:

    • Camera

    • Microphone

  3. Return to the Biometric ID check and try again.

⚠️ Important
If the browser does not have permission to use the camera and microphone, the Biometric ID check cannot be completed.
