Draw a Plan for a Search Order

Start a Search Order and Choose โ€œDraw a planโ€

  1. Start a search order and enter the property address as you normally would.

  2. When you reach the step to confirm the boundary, click Draw a plan.

  3. Click Next to open the plan drawing screen.


Draw the Boundary

You can draw the boundary using one of the following methods:

Fill Boundary

  1. Click Fill Boundary.

  2. Double-click on the area of the map you want to outline.

  3. The system will automatically fill and outline the selected boundary area.

Draw Boundary Manually

  1. Click Draw Boundary Manually.

  2. Click on each point of the boundary in turn to build the outline.

  3. To complete the boundary, double-click the final point.


Amend or Delete the Boundary

If you need to change the boundary after drawing it:

  • To adjust the shape:

    • Click any of the points on the boundary and drag them to a new position.

  • To delete the current boundary:

    • Click Delete Selected Boundary.

  • To delete all boundaries on the plan:

    • Click Delete All.

Make any amendments required until the boundary accurately reflects the property.


Save the Plan and Complete the Search Order

  1. When you are happy with the boundary, click Save Plan.

  2. Continue with the search order process as usual to:

    • Review and select products or bundles.

    • Add any additional information.

    • Select insurance (if required).

    • Confirm the order.

Your drawn plan will be saved and used as the boundary reference for the search order.
