Create a Conveyancing Quote

Create a Quote from a New Case

  1. Create a new case using your usual process.

  2. On the new case, click Conveyancing Quote.

  3. Select the transaction type.

  4. Complete the required fields, then click Next.

  5. Enter the client’s details, then click Next.

    • Fields marked with * are mandatory.

  6. Complete the transaction details, then click Generate.

    • Fields marked with * are mandatory.

The conveyancing quote is now generated and available on the Quotes tab.


Create a Quote from an Existing Case

  1. On the Home page, in Find case reference, type the case reference and select the case from the list.

  2. On the case, click Quotes.

  3. Click Start new quote.

  4. Select a transaction type.

  5. Complete the required fields, then click Next.

  6. Enter the client’s details, then click Next.

    • Fields marked with * are mandatory.

  7. Complete the transaction details, then click Generate.

    • Fields marked with * are mandatory.


Edit a Quote

Make sure you are on the Quotes tab for the relevant case.

Edit Quote Details

  1. On the Quotes tab, click Edit Quote details.

  2. Update the fields as required (for example, client or transaction details).

  3. Click Update quote details to save your changes.

Edit Fees

  1. On the Quotes tab, click Edit Fees.

  2. Update the fee-related fields as required.

  3. Click Save Changes.

💡 Tip
Use Edit Quote details for information changes (e.g. client/transaction), and Edit Fees for cost or pricing adjustments.


Notify the Client

Make sure you are on the Quotes tab.

  • To email one client:

    1. Next to the relevant client’s name, click Email quote.

  • To email all clients on the file:

    1. Click Email to all clients.

The quote will be sent by email to the selected client(s).


Instruct the Quote

⚠️ Important
Once you instruct the quote:

  • The client portal is activated for that case.

  • The onboarding documents are generated.

To instruct the quote:

  1. On the Quotes tab, click Instruct this Quote.

  2. Review the validation checks and complete any missing information.

  3. Click Instruct now.

  4. If prompted, update the reference if required, then click OK.

The quote is now instructed and the client can begin their onboarding journey through the portal.
