This release introduces a new AP1 tracking screen for post-completion visibility, enables multiple AP1 submissions per case, and brings AML compliance checks conducted via API directly into LB Law.
Quotations & Conversions
Updated PDF Quote Greetings. The estimated quote PDF has been updated, providing a more professional and welcoming experience for clients receiving quotations.
Post Completion
AP1 Tracking Dashboard – A brand new AP1 tracking screen provides a centralised view of all submissions. Applications are colour-coded by status for at-a-glance progress monitoring, columns are sortable by dates, and completed records are automatically hidden after six months to keep the dashboard focused on active work.
Multiple AP1 Submissions – Users can now submit multiple AP1 applications from a single case, removing the previous limitation of one submission per matter and streamlining complex transactions.
Discharge Applications – Party roles are now optional for Discharge applications within the AP1 journey, simplifying the submission process where role assignment is not required.
AP1 Estimated Date Calculations – Estimated completion dates are now checked every fifteen minutes rather than once daily, providing more timely updates from HMLR.
Risk & Compliance
AML via API in LB Law – Anti-Money Laundering checks conducted via API are now displayed directly within LB Law portal, giving solicitors immediate visibility of compliance status.
Key Bug Fixes
Document Downloads in LB Law – Fixed an issue preventing documents from being downloaded from the LB Law documents section.
UI Button Alignment & Styling – Multiple button alignment and styling fixes across SDLT, Solicitor Portal overview, quotes screens, and policy pages.
Coming Soon
Post Completion
Mortgage lender warning on AP1 Charges – Users will be warned when a mortgage lender is required in an AP1 where there is a Charge, reducing requisitions.
MD Reference for Lenders – Ability to record MD reference numbers against a list of lenders for improved tracking and automation.
Priority Expiry in AP1 Tracking Screen - If an OS1 has been ordered via our Land Registry integration, the priority expiry date will be available in the AP1 tracking screen along side submission and estimated completion date.
Case Management
Sale and Purchase Reference Display – If integrated with Proclaim, Sale and Purchase matter reference will be displayed within Legal Bricks for better case visibility and cross-referencing across the two systems.
A reminder about in-app support
Following our update last month, here's everything you need to raise a support case quickly and easily in Legal Bricks.
How to raise a support case
All support queries for Legal Bricks are now handled directly within the product. Simply click the Digital Assistant icon
in the bottom-right corner of your screen to:
Enter a query and raise a support case if needed (support-entitled users only)
Search our knowledge base for instant answers, 24/7
View the latest product news, release notes, and newsletters
This change brings everything you need into one convenient location, with no more switching between platforms. All users can access Help Centre content, while support-entitled users can raise cases as usual.
The Customer Success Portal is no longer used for new cases, however, any cases raised through the Digital Assistant will still appear there once resolved, so your records always remain intact.
